Shrimp Scampi (Recipe by Marina) Ingredients: 2 lbs peeled shrimp (Modified:  I didn’t have that much shrimp so I added scallops, which made the dish even sweeter.) 1 package linguine 8 cloves garlic 1 cup butter 1 cup dry white wine s & p chopped parsley To make: Cook linguine according to package, peel shrimp Cook minced garlic in butter and wine for 5-6 mins. (Yes, that is a lot of butter but the French were right about one thing, the more butter, the better it is.) Modified: I went the extra mile and added creme freche.  About a tablespoon and a half.  Makes the sauce thicker and richer.  Add shrimp, cook for 3-5 mins.  Until pink. Season with s&p and chopped parsley.  Mix everything together, add linguine, serve.   Eat with chilled white wine and really good bread.  :)  Absolutely delicious!
