Last Saturday morning, I was driving my 7-year-old and his friend to a birthday party. I heard his friend say, “Last night we watched this show about school food. I don’t think I’m ever going to be…
I’m glad that kids see the light. I honestly do believe that most people underestimate the opinions and understandings of children. My eleven year old brother has even gotten inspired to cook because of Jamie’s show. Kids really do get him.

jamie oliver reblog food revolution TV show
Jamie was on Oprah promoting his food revolution last Friday. In case you missed it, you can see the episode here.
Personally, I’d like to say that I am proud of Jamie and everything he’s ever done with food but this is going the extra mile. I’ve been a fan of his since 2003 and even though I haven’t been able to see all his shows or eat at his restaurants yet, I know a good thing when I see one. And Jamie, is definitely a good thing.
Nice one!

My thoughts:
I can’t believe how the people of Huntington are treating Jamie. They have this amazing person trying to help them, willing to spend time with them, wanting to cook for them, and they don’t even care. Somewhere in the middle of the epi, Jamie is talking to this fat kid about food and the kid says he’s interested in learning some recipes. Jamie says that he would love to teach him one on one and maybe he’d even hire him to come work with him in England. WTF??? That would be like I died and gone to heaven if I ever had that kind of opportunity. Maybe I should become the size of a belluga whale and Jamie will invite me…
hmm…
